User Review: NOKIA ASHA 305

Cebu City, Philippines

Matching a phone and a person always start with user characteristics. Personally, I am a very rugged when it comes to items in general, this means the lifespan of things in my possession does not last very long. Knowing that through harsh experiences, I no longer buy items that are the top brands and make durability or long-lasting a high selling point.

I accidentally dropped my phone busting the LCD display. Thus, I needed a phone that would meets my current needs, fast.
1. On a Globe Postpaid Plan with Unlimited Calls & Text for Globe and Unlimited Internet Surfing.
2. Have an 8GB micro SD for media purposes
3. Medium-Heavy mobile internet user
4. Dual-sim
5. Bugdet conscious

I was contemplating on buying an Android Phone by local manufacturers like Cherry Mobile or from MyPhone. My budget was P 5,000. I did my research and look-up specifications and reviews.

However, in the local mall, I compulsive bought a NOKIA ASHA 305 for P 3,990. Relying heavily on the familiarity of brand, and price achieving my minimum requirements being a dual-sim smartphone.

So after a day of using it. I came up with this.

User Review of NOKIA ASHA 305

It is user-friendly, very easy to figure out, dual-sim advantage and the touchscreen function is satisfactory.

There is no 3G and wifi connectivity if you heavily use mobile internet, altough, the Globe Unli Surf Plan that I'm using works alright. YouTube not supported if on dual-sim, facebook is better on the browser than the app.

It doesn't have a flash and taking pictures may take a bit longer to process. Video capturing is also very dragging.

If only the camera functions are a little bit better, the retail price of P3,990, it could have been a great bargain.
